For those who don’t know who are Melon, well they are an online music service provider of South Korea. What was the criteria on which the songs are selected?

Apparently, there were 35 judges (music critics and experts) who gave there views and choices over K-Pop songs. Additionally, each of the judge was asked to make their of best songs from three decades. Therefore, those 35 lists was used to construct one united list that included best 100 K-Pop songs.
