As per reports, BTS will be joining President Moon in New York on September 20 for the UN General Assembly.

About their new position, BTS leader RM said it was a great honour to receive the title. Moon appointed them in that role as it helps him break the ice with many foreign leaders whenever he talks about BTS.

The privileges they earn from this will include diplomatic immunity and being exempted from airport inspections. The group will deliver a speech during the Sustainable Development Goals Moment on Monday, and a performance video will also be played.

BTS had been part of the UNGA in 2018 where RM delivered an English speech called “Speak Yourself,” which was about self-empowerment.

BTS is also collaborating with Coldplay on a single called “My Universe.”
