Much-awaited comeback from Seventeen
Pledis Entertainment, a popular news source in Korea as recently shared this good news. They have officially shared that Seventeen is coming back in October with something new and exciting.
SEVENTEEN is also known as STV is a band formed by Pledis Entertainment in the year 2015. The band consists of 13 members who are furthewr divided into three categories Hip-hop, vocal unit, and performance unit.
Do we have a release date for their new album?
Since they released their last album in July it hasn’t been long for the release. Their last album ‘Your Choice’ was released on the 18th of July. All the songs were loved a lot by the fans. It is said that more than 1.3 billion copies of the album have been sold of ‘Your Choice’ in just one week of release. After this overwhelming response by their fans, they cannot wait to release their new album.
Difficulties they have faced
During the promotion of their eighth mini-album, all the 13 members of the band had to go in self-quarantine. Because they had come in close contact with COVID patients during the promotions. However, being in self-quarantine didn’t stop them from entertaining their fans. This content was named Carats which shows their encore performance on the stage. Carats was shared by zoom meetings.
S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino are the member of the band. Recently they have renewed their contract with Pledis for six years.
They have also appeared in the show ‘In the scoop’ recently. The scoop is popular by SEVENTEEN. The show debuted with BTS last year. Due to overwhelming love by the fans, they have decided to launch the second season of the show.
