Hargrave spoke about his film during a chat with EW on December. He said that the reception was heartfelt and overwhelmingly positive on his very first directing job, and that it was a dream come true. Hargrave was Chris Evans’ former stunt double as Captain America and the second unit director on Avengers: Endgame.

He said that as a director, what you hope for is for people to not hate your movie. But he’s still in disbelief when people say they’ve watched the movie multiple times. As a director, there’s nothing more pleasing.
