A psychological cliffhanger

“Don’t Worry, Darling” is an upcoming American psychological-based film. The film was announced two years ago after a total of 18 studios were involved in a massive tug of war to grab this project. The making of the movie was not less than a drama in itself. There was a change in cast and in addition, COVID-19 made things more difficult for the production team. The shooting of the film began in 2020, however, it was again halted for two weeks after a crew member tested positive. Unfortunately, there is no trailer for the movie for now. The production team is yet to announce the official release date of the trailer.

Release Date

Well, the production team of “Don’t Worry, Darling” wrapped the shooting in February 2021. However, there is not even a single hint about when the psychological film is going to roll out. But, according to whispers, the movie is set to flow out in 2022. The movie would have been released earlier but unfortunately, COVID-19 cases started surging in LA. There is no doubt that the shooting of the movie was completed in early 2021 but a lot of production stuff is still pending. Therefore, fans and critics are expecting that the movie will slip out next year.

“Don’t Worry, Darling” is directed by Olivia Wilde. Luckily, she is also part of the cast alongside Harry Styles, Florence Pugh, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Chris Pine. Olivia has also co-produced the movie with Roy Lee, Katie Silberman, and Miri Yoon.

Synopsis

Florence Pugh is seen portraying the role of a gloomy housewife who begins to question her stability due to unusual happenings in her surrounding. Unluckily, her beloved husband is also hiding some dark secrets. The story is set back to 1950 era.
