Rolling Stone has released a reboot of the list of 500 best songs. They published the list back in 2004 when Billie Eilish was just 3 years old. Since lots have changed from the year 2004, therefore, they have released a new list of 500 songs.

How was the list prepared?

Rolling Stone made the list after receiving votes for 4000 songs. Rock and Soul was dominating in previous list of the songs back in 2004. While the new version was dominated by hip-hop, indie rock, reggae, Latin pop, R & B, and country. Almost 254 songs in the new list were never there on the previous list. To create the new version of the list, Rolling Stone led the poll between artists that include Angelique Kidjo, Zedd, Sam Smith, Megan Thee Stallion, M. Ward, Bill Ward, and many more.
