John will make a comeback in 2022!
Keanu Reeves with his new Matrix movie around the corner, people well almost did not forget about John Wick. The new John Wick 4 is about to release in 2022 in theatres. Keanu Reeves came back to the action genre in 2014 with the first John Wick. The new John Wick was originally set to release in May 2021 but pandemic prevented that. Right now the new instalment is set to come on May 27, 2022.
Keanu Reeves has helmed the franchise since 2014 and it came as one of the biggest actions of the decade. The last movie was John Wick Chapter 3-Parabellum was released in 2019. Fans have been waiting for the next part ever since.
Back in 2021, the photos from the set of the movie suggested that the cameras have started rolling. The new movie has action filming outside New York City, with primary filming in Berlin, Japan, Paris, and New York. Initially, the plan was to film the 4rth and 5th parts back to back but that was delayed.
What is the Plot of the new sequel?
Along with Reeves, Ian Mcshane, Halle Berry, Scott Adkins, Donnie Yen, Laurence Fishburne, Bill Skarsgard and many more are coming to the new sequel.
The Plot of the movie is still under wraps. But there are tons of assumptions that can be made about the new plot. It will follow the events of the ending of John Wick 3, where John was completely separated from the assassin group “The High Table”. The leadership believes that John is dead but thanks to Winston shooting him off the roof, he ends up injured and taken care of by The Bowery King.
The movie will be directed by Chad Stahelski who has directed all the previous three parts also. The movie will be released under the banner of Lionstage, Thunder Road Pictures, 87North Productions, and Summit Entertainment.
