Moon Knight’s Latest Fan Poster Imitates M. Night Shyamalan’s Split

The art is a good representation of the character’s multiple personalities

Marvel hero Moon Knight is getting his live-action debut through his very own Disney+ series. While we anticipate the first trailer for the series, fan arts have been coming regularly. The latest one includes an imitation of M. Night Shyamalan’s critically acclaimed movie Split. It starred James McAvoy as Kevin, who suffers from multiple personalities disorder – 24 to be exact. After initially making us believe that it was a standalone, Split reveals itself to be part of Shyamalan’s Unbreakable (2000) universe.

Famed artist BossLogic shared a Moon Knight fan poster (shown above) on Instagram. In it we see his shadow breaking off into other Marvel characters like Wolverine, Deadpool, the Punisher, and Spider-Man. It’s a very accurate and creative rendering of Marc Spector, who is one of the most troubled characters to come out of the MCU.

Moon Knight draws comparison to Batman, with the overall mystery around him and the gadgets he uses. But that’s about it. His origin started with him dying in Egypt at the foot of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu who resurrects him after making a deal – to form a symbiotic partnership. The moon grants him powers based on the lunar cycle. But once he becomes Moon Knight, Spector creates multiple secret identities which ends up causing him a dissociative identity disorder.

As crazy as Split

Oscar Isaac will play Moon Knight
Marvel Studios

Oscar Isaac, who will play Moon Knight teased that the series will be wild, and that it’s the greatest risk in his career. In the comics, Marc uses numerous fighting techniques to fend off bad guys, and at that time, he also behaves like the hero he impersonates. This goes to show that if done right, the Disney+ series will be even more crazier than Split.
