The incredible crime thriller, The Blacklist features the ill-famed Raymond Red Reddington, an expert criminal. Ever since the show debuted on September 23, 2013, it incurred a positive response from the viewers.

The finale of season 8 startled the viewers with the death of Elizabeth. Moreover, the former season left quite a lot of questions unsolved, while the fans expected them to get resolved. This surely left The Blacklist fans impatient for a new season!

As said above, recent sources revealed the ninth season of the series is set to have a time leap of two years forward from the death of Elizabeth. Meanwhile, the intriguing fact is that the lives of all the characters including, Raymond Reddington seem to have taken an erratic turn. The new series will follow the breakup of the FBI task force in the wake of Liz’s demise. Another twist we will likely witness in season 9 is we don’t know the whereabouts of the show’s lead Raymond.

However, soon, in the wake of a common goal, the FBI task force members will reunite to continue their original mission. Further, The Blacklist season nine is expected to resolve all the unsolved mysteries from the previous installments.

Obviously, James Spader will reprise his role as the lead role Raymond Reddington in season 9. Along with him, Diego Klattenhoff as Agent Ressler, Amir Arison as Aram Mojtabai will join. Finally, Harry Lennix, Hisham Tawfiq, and Laura Sohn will reprise their roles.

The Blacklist Season 9 will premiere on October 21 at 8 P.M. ET exclusively on NBC.
