Super Junior’s Donghae Announces New Single With Stellar Images

The song will also feature NCT’s Jeno

Super Junior’s Donghae has just announced the release of his latest digital single.

The K-pop star shared six first look images on his social media on October 11. Titled “California Love,” the song will also feature NCT’s Jeno.

From the images, the song promises to be of the mellow kind, a different beat from Donghae’s usual hip-hop style. The lyrics will be about the singer’s desire to share his love to his partner with the beauty of California in the backdrop. Jeno, who is a good friend of Donghae, will bring his own talents to make the song extra special.

Three of the new images feature a red and exotic background that resembles the Mojave desert in California. The other three give off cool vibes and matches his other track “Blue Moon.” “Blue Moon” features (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon.

Also, Donghae will start a real-time live broadcast on Super Junior’s official YouTube channel from 5 pm on October 13. He plans to talk with fans around the world about many things, such as new songs, spoilers, and share behind-the-scenes footage of his singles.

SJ Label, Super Junior’s managers, announced on September 27 that their next album, ‘Countdown’ by the end of October. The album will be part of the group’s 10th anniversary since their debut. They released their first digital single, ‘Oppa Oppa’ on December 16, 2011.

Their previous mini album was ‘Bad Blood,’ released in September 2020. ‘Countdown’ will be a full-length album, and both Donghae and Eunhyuk promised to work extra hard for its perfection. Expectations are at an all-time high for it.

Meanwhile, Donghae will drop ‘California Love’ on October 13 at 6 PM KST. Stay tuned for the music video teaser later tonight at 10 PM KST.
