The journey from manga to anime
Taisho Otome Fairy Tale is a romance based Japanese manga series. Sana Kirioka, the famous manga artist, is the writer and illustrator of the series. Furthermore, Shueisha’s Jump Square serialized the manga series from July 2015 to September 2017. The chapters of the manga series were adapt in five tankōbon volumes.
In addition, a sequel of the manga series, called “Shōwa Otome Otogi Banashi”, was also released. Nevertheless, Sbheisha’s Shinōnen Jump+ serialized the sequel series from August 2018 to May 2020.
At an online event called “Jump Fiesta ’21”, on December 20, 2020. It announced that the manga series will be getting an anime adaptation produce by SynergySP. And just recently, a trailer for the upcoming anime television series released online.
Get ready for a new wholesome romance story
Funimation dropped the trailer for the anime and also confirmed the release date of the series. Therefore, fans of the upcoming historical romance anime were desperately waiting for an update. The trailer focuses on the unusual love story of an outcast and a girl who appeared in his life out of the blue and claims to be his bride.
Moreover, theme of rediscovering love and self-acceptance will be explore in the story. The comments below the trailer are highly positive which shows that the fans are excited for the show. The release date of the anime is schedule alongside the trailer. The anime series will be release in October 2021.
Nonetheless, it seems that the fans of the series will have to wait for a month.
The entrance of happiness in outcast’s banal life
SynergySP, best known for “Beyblade: Metal Fury” and “Battle Game in 5 Seconds”, will be producing the upcoming anime. The director of the series is Jun Hatori. “Beyblade: Metal Masters” and “Cross Game” are among his best-known works. The anime series will consist of veteran voice actors like Saya Aizawa, Yūsuke Kobayashi.
Also, Ayasa Itō and Chika Anzai are also part of the cast and will be playing their respective roles. The plot of the anime is about the unusual love story of Tamahiko Shima and Yuzuki Tachiban. Tamahiko, an outcast living in the countryside so that he could not bring shame to his family, has come to terms with dying alone. Until Yuzuki arrives at his doorstep.
The series will air on October 8, 2021.
