Cowboy Bebop live-action series could be the one to change the history

Created and animated by Sunrise, Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese sci-fi neo-noir anime series. In fact, the anime series is quite popular among the fans. And the anime is getting a live-action adaptation of the same name. Cowboy Bebop will be an American streaming TV series. Additionally, the series will be developed by André Nemec. When the news first came out the fans of the series were very nervous. However, the nervousness of the fans is understandable.

There have been many live-action adaptations of many anime which did not meet the expectations of the fans. However, when some stills from the series were dropped on Twitter fans were surprised because of how good it looked. The stills showed accurate costumes, sets and carefully sticking to the anime series. Which gave fans some hope. And now the intro for the live-action was dropped recently.

The changing perspectives of the fans over the time

During Netflix’s Global Live Fan Event called TUDUM, the live-action intro was released. After the intro debuted, the fans were very much surprised by it. The intro was actually the first look, in motion, of the series. However, fans were surprised to see that the intro was actually modelled after the anime. In fact, the original opening theme song, titled “Tank”, of the anime was also used.

The opening intro sequence of the live-action is modelled after the original anime with some tweaks of their own. And this intro actually shows the vibe they’re aiming for with this new take on the series. And all this got the fans so excited and actually changed their perspectives. In fact, it seems that the fans are looking forward to the series and are actually excited.

A cast which fits the characters

Picking a cast which is actually accurate to the characters and is talented is not a simple task. Especially in a live-action adaptation of an anime like this. It was an important and crucial task. Fans got the first look of the cast when the stills of the cast in costumes were posted on twitter. And those stills actually were the first thing that started changing the sceptical perspective of the fans.

The live-action contains John Cho and Mustafa Shakir as Spike Spiegel and Jet Black. Moreover, Daniella Pineda will be playing the role of Faye Valentine. In addition, Tamara Tunie will be playing Ana along with Mason Alexander Park as Gren.

Alex Hassell is playing Vicious and Elina Satine will be playing Julia. It seems fans will be getting a trailer quite soon. And the live-action series itself is supposed to release on November 19th.
