Total War: Warhammer 3 needs more time to get better

On September 13, Creative Assembly Chief Product Officer Rob Bartholomew reached out to the Twitter platform to announce the delay of Total War: Warhammer 3. The release window update of the game moved back to early 2022. At the same time, he thanked all the fans for their patience concerning the postponement.

Why the delay?

The Creative Assembly team announced on Total War’s official Twitter account regarding the game’s delay. However, they did not reveal any specific reason behind the postponement. They claimed that the decision was made so that the team gets some more time. This way, the team doesn’t have to rush the game to release it by the end of the year.

Apparently, they believe that extra time means more accomplishment than what could have been if rushed. Moreover, in the official post, it was stated by Chief Product Officer Rob Bartholomew that the new date will make for a stronger release and the best first step into a new era for Total War: Warhammer. Let’s all hope for the same too!

New Release Date

Unfortunately, in the post made by the Creative Assembly team of Total War, we didn’t get any particular release date. However, the post said the game will likely release in early 2022. So we might expect the game to release in the first quarter of the year 2022. Nonetheless, we can only anticipate for now while waiting for Total War’s Creative Assembly to give the information about a release date.

In the announcement, Rob Bartholomew stated that “The wait won’t be much longer, and we’ll have plenty of new information for you in the meantime.”
