Another “Fabulous” Korean Drama on the way!
Chae Soo-bin and Minho have both been offered roles for an upcoming Netflix drama. JTBC News reported on September 28, that Minho and Chae Soo-bin will be the leads of “Fabulous” on Netflix. It is an upcoming Korean drama on Netflix, set to begin filming pretty soon.
A source from King Kong by Starship, Chae Soo-bin’s agency, confirmed the news. The source stated that Chae Soo-bin has received an offer and is currently in talks. Similarly, a source from SM Entertainment stated that Minho has been offered the role. According to the sources, the actor is keen on the role.
Fabulous will feature a friendship between four young men and women as they navigate their way through the fashion industry. Additionally, the movie is supposed to come out on Netflix sometime around 2022.
The talented cast
Choi Min-ho, also known as Minho, is a South-Korean rapper, singer and songwriter. In addition, Minho is also an actor and a model. Minho debuted in the K-pop industry back in 2008 as the member of South-Korea boy group Shinee. Additionally, he debuted as an actor in KBS2’s drama Pianist in November 2010. And since then he has landed roles in many television series.
On the other hand, Chae Soo-bin, whose real name is Bae Soo-bin, is a South-Korean actress. The actress first gained recognition for her role in Love in the Moonlight (2016) television series. However, Chae debuted in the industry back in 2014 with the film My Dictator. Later on, she got the lead roles in various television series like The Rebel (2017).
The trendsetters in the fashion industry
The series is said to be centred around the work, love, and passion of the four friends as they try to balance their single life and work. Choi Min-ho is reportedly offered the role of Ji Woo Min, who’s a freelance photo retoucher. While Ji Woo Min is offered the quintessential playboy character. On the other hand, Chae Soo-bin will be playing the role of Pyo Ji Eun. Her role is that of an independent, sweet and optimistic woman working in a high-end fashion agency from 5 years.
Fabulous will focus on the lives of the trendsetters of the fashion industry. However, it also throw light on the life beyond the glitz and glamour of the fashion industry.
