“Teasing Master Takagi-san” is back for another season
“Teasing Master Takagi-san”, a.k.a. “Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san”, is a rom-com Japanese manga series. Sōichirō Yamamoto is the writer and illustrator of the manga series. The series follows the life of Takagi constantly teases her classmate Nishikata because she loves to tease him. Nishikata tries to get back at her but he always fails.
An anime television series adaptation of the manga by Shin-Ei Animations announced back in 2017. And finally in January 2018 the first season of the anime aired. Due to the positive response from the audience, the anime got renewed for another season. In July 2019, the second season of the show premiered.
And just recently, a third season was announced and a trailer for the same released alongside the announcement.
2022 is going to be the best year for the fans of the anime series
The news about the third season got the fans of the anime excited. Furthermore, it was also announced that the anime will be getting a movie too sometime in 2022. The third season will be release in Japan in January 2022. No such information about the release date of the movie is available for now.
The teaser for the third season shows that the bond of Takagi and Nishikata is getting stronger. Fans of the show have been waiting for a third season ever since the finale of the second season. And the announcement of a third season was like a wish come true for the fans.
As a bonus, fans are also getting a movie about the anime. 2022 is going to be a big year for the fans of “Teasing Master Takagi-San”.
Double bonus for fans
It is confirm that Rie Takahashi and Yuki Kaji are returning for the roles of Takagi and Nishikata for season 3. The director of the show, Akagi Hiroaki, is also return. The scriptwriters, Hiroko Fukuda, Aki Itami, and Kanichi Katou, are all set to return.
Ayana Takano is also returning as character designer. The cast and crew members for the movie are not confirm yet. It expect that Rie Takahashi and Yuki Kaji will reprise their respective roles for the movie as well.
It is not yet clear whether the movie will be a sequel of the third season or a spinoff of the anime. Fans will have to wait for sometime in order to get new information or details about the movie.
