A new anime series to helm TV screens in 2022!
The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody will have a television adaptation in 2022. The series is based on the novels written by Myōjin Katō. The official website of the anime series announced on Saturday that the TV adaptation by Myōjin Katō‘swill air in 2022.
The date is not announced yet. The novel series was released in 2017 with illustrations done by Sao Mizuno.
A teaser was announced through visual art as a part of the announcement. The anime series will be a collaboration of SILVER LINK and BLAKE studios with Mirai Minato serving as the director of the series.
Takayuki Noguchi is adapting Sao Mizuno’s character designs for animation. The site also revealed the visual and show’s main staff.

Plot:
The story of the series will be about a person who in his past life was a powerful entity, known as Demon Lord Varvatos, a powerful magic user, and ruler. But he was lonely as he lost all his friends and loved ones in his rise to power. So, in his dying moments, Demon casts a reincarnation spell so as to have a chance to live a normal life.
He does so to have a second chance for a new life where he can live as a normal guy.
By the looks of it looks normal, he is reborn a thousand years later into a village. Unfortunately, his memories of past life are still intact with him.
He is not aware of just how much he has lost by not existing this many years. This looks like it will cost him a chance of having a normal life which he always wished for.
